On September 17, 2007, the members of the Child Labor Coalition honored Linda Golodner, co-founder and co-chair of the Child Labor Coalition, for her 18 years of leadership in the CLC and her continuous efforts to end child labor and promote education for all children. The CLC presented her with a photograph of former child workers who are now in school in Nepal, courtesy of Rugmark Foundation USA. Although she plans to continue as an individual member of the CLC, Linda has officially stepped down as co-chair. Yet, her heart for children and this issue remains undaunted, and she will continue her leadership and contribution in several initiatives to end child labor exploitation and promote free, quality basic education for all children.
